Many people do not realize that hiring a designer can actually save you time, money, and headaches. An Interior Motive Designs has the resources and talent for your upcoming project. We can organize, collect bids, and budget for any project, big or small. We are versatile and are happy to work with your style, tastes, and ideas. We enjoy working in many different design styles preferring not to create the same design over and over again, but making every design custom and unique.An Interior Motive Designs is owned by Coachella Valley native, Morraika Simonds. Morraika is a member of ASID (The American Society of Interior Designers), and has recently served as the Professional Development Director and Community Service Chair for the Palm Springs/Inland Chapter. She is also an active "Angel for Olive Crest", and the mother of three beautiful children, ages 15, 5, and 6.One of her favorite side projects was creating a fashion design during El Paseo Fashion Week 2009, for the ASID Fashion Runway show. She made a dress by hand and created a mosaic completely out of paint chips and metallic wallpaper to imitate Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss". Though she did not win the design competition, her dress sold in the auction afterwards for one of the highest amounts! She can't wait to participate next year . . .
